Our Story

Feral Education was founded on a simple belief: the most impactful education comes from experienced professionals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge with others.

Founded by retired Army Staff Sergeant and Licensed Clinical Social Worker Joseph L. Hull and Flight Paramedic Liané Mitchell, Feral Education was created to provide high-quality, experience-driven education for professionals, organizations, and communities. Drawing upon decades of combined experience in military service, emergency medicine, healthcare, leadership, and public safety, our founders envisioned an organization dedicated to advancing knowledge through practical instruction, specialized training, continuing education, and engaging keynote presentations.

Recognizing the need for greater access to specialized education in emerging and underserved areas, Feral Education brings together subject-matter experts from a variety of disciplines to develop courses that are relevant, evidence-informed, and immediately applicable. Our educational programs span emergency medical education, tactical rope operations, ground tactical training, leadership, healthcare, autism and first responders, and other specialized fields, equipping students with practical knowledge they can confidently apply in their professions.
